These days, Daniel Rands no longer practices as an auditor but as an adviser to companies and not for profit organisations which are required to be audited.
Our advisory services include the selection of your initial auditor, the tender process where an auditor has been in place for a long time and the information which should be provided to an auditor.
Rands Advisory Group also accepts appointments to provide accounting reports and non-audit services to audited entities, including the provision of these to your auditor and the management of the information required during the audit process.
This involvement frees up management time and allows our expert audit knowledge to be in tune with auditor requirements for an efficient audit process. It also reduces the possibility that the audit processes will extend beyond the necessary and agreed scope, from our in-depth understanding of audit requirements.
Experience & Background
Rands Advisory Group principal Daniel Rands was a registered company’s auditor for around thirty years and was involved in numerous audit engagements:
Former external auditor of Bartercard Ltd, the largest trade exchange in the world and various internal audit assignments in Australia and New Zealand.
Previously the partner in charge of the Tasmanian Woolworths, Craig Mostyn and Statewide Independent Wholesalers audits. These were branch audits for the national audit engagement partner which also involved stocktake work.
