Daniel Rands is one of the most highly qualified forensic accountants in Australia, being one of only around one hundred Forensic Accounting Specialists, as awarded by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (formerly The Institute of Chartered Accountants). In addition, he is a Chartered Tax Adviser and licensed to provide superannuation advice.

These engagements include reviewing complex business operations and asset structures to determine the flow of funds, income available to a person, or the level of control a person has over the affairs of an asset, business or entity.

This can include an assessment of the ability of an entity to meet an award of damages should it lose a contemplated case.
